Peacocks cichlids, upon maturity, are the brightest cichlids in the entire World. Albino peacocks are bred to display bright pink and orange colors. Like all true albino fish these cichlids have red eyes. Even at a small size the albino color is bold and apparent. Peacock cichlids get along with nearly all Afican cichlids, catfish, and large tetras and barbs, and larger oddball Africans. If sharing space with more aggressive Mbunas – particularly Zebra cichlids - provide them with lots of space and rocks and wood for cover.
