When all the other fish are gone from neglect the silvertip tetra will still hang in there. Even in the wild these are tough little guys that can be found in a wide range of water conditions. The fish has silver tips, but the silvertip tetra also have beautiful gold and red on the fins and body. These fish are peaceful but very active so they are a nice addition to the aquarium. The rare ALBINO bred variation has the classic red eyes with a pink and orange body with white highlites on the fins.
