Buenos Aires Tetra (school of 6)
For those that desire a larger schooling fish the buenos aires tetra is perfect. The Buenos Aires Tetra was discovered in 1907 by a collector named Carl Eigenmann who got to name a lot of fish in those days. He found this species in Argentina, so with a little thought he came up with "Buenos Aires". These fish do best in schools of six or more but they do grow to three inches and are quite active swimmers.
