Gold Tiger Datnoid
The gold tiger datnoid, also called the Siamese tiger fish, is a predator from Southeast Asia. We import these fish from Vietnam and Indonesia. Indonesian datnoids have more stripes, but both have the same gold coloration and body shape. Even though datnoids are predators and will eat small fish, they are not aggressive to similar size fish in the fish tank. Gold tiger datnoids are wild caught and not as common as the silver datnoid.
Small datnoids will eat cut earth worms, live black worms, ghost shrimp, and can be transitioned to frozen. Medium datnoids can also each feeder white clouds and feeder guppies.
