The lion fish, also called the stone fish, is an oddball from the brackish streams of Thailand. These fish have venomous fins so handle with care. Best to use containers as opposed to nets when transferring the species. a bit of personality and unusual movement, so they are a great addition to the aquarium.
The lion fish is an ambush predator and feeds on small feeder fish such as feeder goldfish, but they have been known to eat live and frozen black worms.
