Macolor Snapper


The Macolor Snapper is also called the Black Snapper and the Black and White Snapper. It is usually a plain bluish grey above and paler below. It has dark fins. The head of Malcolor Snapper may have a reticulated pattern of pale bluish lines. Its flesh is firm textured and contains very little fat. They are valuable and well-regarded food fishes in Indonesia, but pretty exotic fare for the aquarist. These are peaceful fish and suitable for a live rock fish only aquarium.
