Turbo fluctuosus, native to the waters off the coast of Mexico, is an excellent algae-eater and beneficial tank member. They are best housed in established reef tanks with plenty of live rock and away from aggressive tank mates. As scavengers they will eat algae, diatoms, and Cyanobacteria found around the tank and in the sand.
