Royal Peacock Bass

The royal peacock bass is so named because it is the biggest cichlid in Colombia and one of the most colorful of the peacock bass family. Royal peacock bass, or peacock intermedia, are fast active predators and good jumpers. In fact they are prized game in on the Amazon. Bass grow quick, and are generally shipped small, about two inches. Pictured is a two inch adolescent.
