The Aurora Goby are also called the Pinkbar Blenny and Pinkbar Goby for the dominate vertical stripes along their body. These marine fish form a close bond with marine shrimp in the aquarium, though it is unknown if they do this in the wild. In fact, they will be seen protecting shrimp from aggressive species. Found throughout reefs of the Indian Ocean the Pinkbar Goby lives in sandy substrates and grows to about 4 inches.
