Pom Pom Crab (Freshwater)
Pom Pom Crab
The pom pom crab is a rare find in the high mountains of Taiwan and seldom exported to the USA. These small crabs are fully aquatic but they will still try to escape the aquarium so there needs to be a good cover or several inches of glass so they cannot climb out. Pom pom crabs use their "pom pom" filaments to catch detritus for feeding and are quite a little spectacle when they do feed. Sinking pellets and scavenging should keep these guys happy.
