The sabalo barracuda is also known as the red tail brycon and this fish a a very hardy and very ferocious predator. They are good companions to other large aggressive species. Red tail brycons require live fish such as feeder goldfish and guppies.

These fish are attractive with a silver body and a bright red tail.
