Yellow Kribensis Cichlid

Straight from the tributaries of the Congo River comes the wild yellow kribensis. Most kribensis in the aquarium market are tank raised pelvichromis kribensis tank raised in Asia. The wild yellow kribensis is a treat for collectors of these dwarf African cichlids. Like the more common kribensis, these fish only grow to three inches and get along with all fish that cannot fit in their small mouth - so no small rasboras or fancy freshwater shrimp. The males and females display tan and gold markings and the male gets the purple chest when displaying for the female.
