Similar to the filamentosa barbs, the teardrop barb is even rarer and larger. Also called the Rohani Barb, these fish are seldom seen in the aquarium trade.

Larger barbs are hardy schooling fish that require room to swim, they are not suited to aquariums under 20 gallons.
