Batik Snail

The batik snail is one of the prettier nerite snails but difficult to source. These snails are not prolific breeders and they love algae and also make good scavengers for leftover food. Nerites only grow to a little less than one inch, so several would be needed for effective algae control in an aquarium of ten gallons or more.
