Famed aquarist and adventurer Heiko Bleher discovered the species in a remote area of Indonesia. The bleheri is not often found in the fish trade, though the Indonesia breeders figured them out. The problem is that the color doesn't appear until the fish is two inches, prior it is just silver. Breeders usually don't hang on to fish for too long so the first few in the trade just looked silver. BUT in a few months these fish became a rainbow wonder. So please be patient! They will look like the picture. And they should become popular.
